The menu, service, and location at this restaurant are outstanding! I tried the chicken Alfredo pasta and the veggie pizza with a creamy base, which was a nice departure from the usual tomato base. I would definitely come back again! View all feedback.
What Sarita Damico doesn't like about Pizza Delight:
It's the only place around that I can find a donair pizza. While standing waiting for take-out you can see the kitchen. Doesn't appear neat & organized. We've also had buffet in the past and there was a poor selection. View all feedback.
Occasionally eat here as service is usually quick and the buffet is convenient especially when accompanied by grandchildren. Have found at times that amounts are skimpy at times and if busy there is a "stampede" to get pizza when one is brought out as there is often a considerable wait to get it replenished. Some suggestions....refresh pasta and stir fry dishes more frequently to prevent drying out and perhaps add a fresh seasonal fruit to buffet table. The bread grill is a nice touch but on our last couple of visits there was only one selection of bread (plain white) and only a few slices in the bag. Serving staff are usually very friendly and efficient.
We went here the other night for the dinner buffet. We ended up being the only people in the restaurant for some reason. The buffet was good at first. We had a few slices of the mixed topping pizza they brought out. I can't eat what was on the other sections of pizza so I waited for them to bring something else out. After about 20 minutes the waitress asked if we wanted to purchase a dessert. I commented that usually the buffet has dessert pizza. I ordered buffet so why would I pay for a dessert? I asked if they were bringing out more pizza and the waitress said they wouldn't for two people. So we basically paid 13.99 for 4 slices of pizza total. What a waste. They offered to bring us out a dessert pizza. It was overcooked and burnt on the bottom. I ate it anyways because they put it out for us. Very disappointing. I won't be back.
We went in for lunch & was served pizza quickly - I like their Donair pizza. Not much choice on the buffet but salads and soup looked good.
Went there with a friend who had just moved to town and got a coupon in her mailbox from the Welcome Wagon. We thought - why not! Got there as one of the first places to visit in town and told us they wouldn't honour the coupon. Very disappointed and not a very good first impression of Walkerton.
This restaurant had been recommended to me as having a very good smorg on the weekend . On a Friday evening my better half and I decided we would try it. We went there and as it happened we were to late for the Smorg. so we decided we would just have a pizza. We ordered a thin crust pizza with five items. The crust was thicker than the items and the crust was burnt. A couple of weeks later we were in town again and thought we would give it another try as we were earlier and could have the smorg. Well what terrible decision that was. The smorg offered two types of pasta , both under cooked and soup which they had run out of and didn't have any more and two types of pizza with two toppings which was also cold. Will never go back again and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
