Sombreros Mexican - Walker
Sombreros Mexican
Description
Nestled near the autobahn, this restaurant presents a mixed experience for diners. While some patrons find the atmosphere warm and welcoming, along with friendly service and generous portions, others criticize the food quality, likening the nacho cheese and sauces to low-grade fast food. However, many highlight the standout dishes, like perfectly cooked fajita steak and flavorful fish tacos. The attentive waitstaff, such as Tommy and Benjamin, often receive praise for their efficiency and friendliness. Despite the occasional hiccup, the overall consensus leans towards satisfaction, particularly for those seeking a lively dining environment with a home-cooked feel.

Tourist trap for the local hotels off the highway. The queso was like the cheese you get when you order nachos at a movie theater or a high school football game. The other sauces and refried beans also tasted like they were from a can. Price wasexpensive for the very low quality of food.
The steak fajitas and Queso Flameado (choriqueso) are fantastic. I think I'll give the steak and shrimp fajitas a try next time.
Great service! Food is good but sometimes taste is a little different or its my taste buds! What I got was on dinner menu, but we usually go for lunch and the same item is around two dollars cheaper but dinner meal was no bigger than the lunch meal.
