We both had the all you can eat catfish platter wh... read more I was very disappointed in LeFleur's Jr. Had a terrible waiter. Waited several minutes for anyone to seat me. We both had the all you can eat catfish platter which was the special that night. The best thing about our visit was the price $9.95 each. As stated earlier it took forever to be waited on...another forever to get our food. The service was so bad that two sets of customers were seated opposite us and left without ordering because the waiter took so long to return. One set got their drink order but food hever arrived. The second sat there for at least 15 minutes and was never waited on. Our waiter never came back to see if we wanted more catfish. He finally came and was gone to get my husband a second glass of water but after twenty minutes he had never returned. We're usually very good tippers but left nothing. Spent way too much time just sitting. The catfish was great, the salad bar terrible and my baked potato was not completely done.

I went with a few friends and ordered the grilled platter, but instead received soggy, undercooked food that seemed old and rusty. My son and friend ordered fried catfish and oysters, which were also old and soggy, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. I contacted the health department to report them before someone gets seriously ill from contaminated food! I didn't touch anything on my plate, and when I raised my concerns, nobody seemed to care; they only seemed interested in bringing me the bill. This place is the most disgusting fish restaurant I’ve ever been to! They really need to be shut down before they hurt someone!

Given the number of customers they serve daily, it's understandable that not everyone will be satisfied, and often it's those who aren’t happy who leave negative feedback. It's rare for satisfied customers to take the time to write a positive review. We had a wonderful culinary experience—the food was fresh, my seafood was excellent, and my partner said his steak was fantastic. I would definitely return. They shouldn't criticize until they've given it a try!

They recently closed for a couple weeks for renovations and I thought I'd... read more I have been to La Fluers Jr previously and it was decent- nothing to write home about. They recently closed for a couple weeks for renovations and I thought I'd check it out this evening. I ordered the seafood platter which came with the salad bar. The salad bar looked pitiful, some of the items looked like they would make you sick if you tried them even. My gumbo came out lukewarm at best, and my side baked potato was probably the best thing on my plate...but that wasn't even cooked enough. My family and I were there (3 adults and 1 ordering child) for an hour and a half- we waited on our food for a full hour! On top of that when we expressed our discontent we were only given an apology by our (very nice) waitress...I feel as though the manager should have taken some sort of initiative by introducing themselves and apologizing personally for the wait and inferior food. Also, we were going to get the dinner buffet which used to be closer to $20 a person and it is now $29 a person- just seems a bit high for the quality...
