Chizzy's - Walhalla
Chizzy's
Description
Set deep in the woods, this unpretentious gem serves standout walleye and fried fish, a varied menu (including a spicy Inn burger) and reasonable $10–30 prices. Diners praise excellent food, friendly staff, and ample free parking for cars, trailers and RVs. Expect a rustic, somewhat dated interior with cherished wooden busts in need of preservation; the salad bar and occasional inconsistent service (and a rare underthawed fillet) have room for improvement. Overall, a beloved local spot for hearty, affordable meals.

Very good food great service an good atmosphere to be in. Parking: Open parking lot plenty of room if your pulling a trailer, camper or driving a motor home. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
We went for the walleye and were quite pleased with our meal. While it was slightly salty, the fish was cooked to perfection, and the fries were excellent. The salad bar, however, could use some improvement; the lettuce resembles the shredded kind you'd find in tacos. I highly recommend the fried fish. It's a bit disappointing that the restaurant hasn't updated its atmosphere or decor in 20 years—it feels old, worn out, and dusty. On a positive note, I'm glad they've maintained the wooden busts outside, though they should be preserved, as they seem to be deteriorating.
Fantastic restaurant! I dined in for dinner and found it to be an outstanding experience. With a price range of $10–20 per person, the food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5. The service was equally impressive, also rated 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was lovely, giving it a perfect 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the walleye dish!
