The Hungry Ram - Wales

After reading earlier reviews in a guestbook where we stay, we decided that this would be the perfect place for an evening meal. we have booked our food for the last night of our vacation and it has really picked up our week. eating and service was phenomenal and so good priced. we decided for their Thursday evening burger, pint and a brownie for £15 and it was so delicious. we will see each other again next time!

Venue was lovely, but the food was a bit disappointing. Saute potatoes had not seen the saute pan and the tarte tatan was a bit mushy. Tasty no less though.

Honestly, one of the best burgers I've ever had! My girlfriend surprised me with a meal here for my birthday and the staff even embarrassed me with a brownie slab while singing happy birthday.. Would highly recommend

We booked at the last minute and to our surprise found The Hungry Ram packed, we got the last table! The menu was simple (I like that, easier to decide what to order! . W had the pork belly and I had the haddock and chips. Both were cooked to perfection. The HR is a converted primary school and open plan which works well for large parties. The parking was adequate for the large number of cars present. The staff were attentive and friendly and we felt welcomed by all. Recommended!
