Came in because I was feeling Italian- but didn’t know what exactly. I walked in and was promptly seated. There was a birthday happening on an alcoved part of the restaurant, but besides that, it wasn’t too busy. It has a real welcoming environment. You’re able to see into the kitchen, which has a real brick/stone oven for pizzas. Super neat. My waiter was covering me and the birthday party, and I don’t think I was a priority. I had a pretty nice wait between getting water——then she told me the specials and left, without asking if I was ready to order. So another wait. But then she came back and I ordered the spicy seafood pasta. It wasn’t spicy. It tasted like the seafood just had old bay sprinkled lightly on it. No hate to old bay, just wasn’t the spicy I was wanting. The seafood in it was cooked well though, the shrimp was like perfect, not tough. And the mussels and clams- yum. The entree filled me up so I wasn’t up for dessert, but their line up it said they were made in house made me wish I wasn’t that full.
We took a ride to get take out to try this place after hearing great things. We had margherita pizza, cavatelli pasta w/mushrooms and pesto which was so delicious, and since the cheesecake we ordered was sold out, they gave us perfect tiramisu and the best chocolate cake we've ever had. The texture and taste of the dough of the pizza was so much better than other places and the pasta tasted homemade and was just incredibly tasty, we couldn't stop eating it. Definitely taking another trip.
