During my visit, I witnes... read more Once a fantastic place, this restaurant has taken a turn for the worse since being purchased by a wealthy individual from Los Angeles. During my visit, I witnessed the manager berating an employee in front of customers, which was quite shocking. I also learned that the two waitresses we had come to see were let go so that the new owner could bring in his own staff. This establishment no longer feels like a community-owned business. I encourage others to support restaurants that genuinely contribute to Waldport and the surrounding areas. I won’t be returning.

The menu has changed, the food was incredible, the new girl working was by herself and had a full restaurant and still managed to great service and kept our drinks coming. It was the best experience we?ve EVER had at waves. Hoping this continues as Waldport needs a place like this and the views are great!! The only suggestion would be to get a breakfast going we live in Bayshore and would love a good weekend breakfast place..and get more staff but they killed it last night and we will spread the word about the new great changes!

The pool needed better chemical balance, and it seemed the heater wasn't functioning properly either. Additionally, the pool could really use some kind of enclosure. The lounge and restaurant were also closed during our visit.

The only thing... read more We visited recently, and I have to say the food was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised and plan to return next weekend to enjoy another meal. The only thing that stood out to me was that the bartender was working alone and managing everything by herself. She did an excellent job, but I hope you consider hiring more staff.
