Dennis, Denise and Nichole are real people that don't have to FAKE a smile or toll the line for customer service. Unlike the two restaurants they sit between, Lazy Dayz knows what most of their customer's names are and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed in their little cafe. Great BBQ!! Best homemade potatoes chips, too!!

They are a small, cozy family-run restaurant that everyone feels like home and part of the family and always makes happy. I and my fiancée were there several times and look forward to our next visit as soon as we leave. it is definitiw the trip of salem, or worth for us! pay them a visit, they will not be disappointed!

It took half an hour to finally receive... read more I recently purchased a hot dog from a vendor at the Beach Comber event, but the experience was extremely disappointing. It took half an hour to finally receive my hot dog, and I only got it after requesting a refund. The vendor made excuses about cooking, but when I checked the grill, there were only two hot dogs cooking. The vendor claimed to have just given the hot dogs to the girl working the stand, but there was a nearly full package of hot dog buns sitting on the table. Many other customers who ordered hot dogs also complained about the long wait. Despite living nearby, I will not be returning to this restaurant after this experience.

They are a little, cozy family run restaurant that makes everyone feel right at home and part of the family and always leave satisfied. I and my fiance have been there several times and look forward to our next visit as soon as we leave. It is definitely worth the trip from Salem, OR for us! Pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed!

Despite our... read more We stumbled upon this hidden gem in Waldport with a large group. They were able to accommodate all of us, providing excellent service for our party. Despite our size, they managed to keep both outdoor tables busy and also handled takeout orders. We called ahead to let them know we were coming, and they were prepared for our arrival.

The interior is cozy with wooden table... read more Lazy Dayz Cafe is a hidden gem of a restaurant that may not look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The interior is cozy with wooden tables and chairs, giving off a homey vibe. The scruffy gentleman who greeted us at first seemed suspicious, but his sense of humor quickly won us over. The food was fantastic, with the fish and chips being a standout dish. The BBQ brisket sandwich was also a hit, leaving us all impressed. The prices were surprisingly low, and we ended up tipping generously because the meal was just that good. If you're in Waldport, make sure to stop by Lazy Dayz Cafe near the docks. You won't be disappointed. Don't judge a book by its cover - this place deserves 4 out of 5 stars!
