Service is good with respect to timing, frienliness, and value I haven't tasted the entire menu, but, when I go here for company, they've all enjoyed their food. Last, the atmosphere is ok, but with the backdrop of the pandemic, I don?t care to eat there. In other words, it's good enough place and order and go or pickup. I pass 5 other Chinese food spots to buy here. View all feedback.
What citrus hall doesn't like about China Express:
I ordered shrimp egg foo young, no rice w/ sauce on the side. I've ordered this particular meal several times (over the last couple of years), the same way. Never had one problem. They hired a new young man (lack- luster attitude). Opened my food to eat, gravy all over my patties. I called tried to explained to the young man (who didn't seem to understand what I was saying). The food is super delicious! In my opinion, one of the best tasting Chinese food carryouts in Waldorf. I always get the Fried rice egg foo yung, or general TSO's chicken. As with any carryout, the inside is a little rough, still has dirt from 2003 but those are the best places to eat oddly enough. Smell is a mix between chicken and dirty boxers but overall, a great carryout.
My Mozzarella stick did NOT taste like it was cooked all the way! half of it was cold then my sandwich had WAY too much grease. I will not order from here again!
Good food, good prices, general TSO can be a little salty, and the ingredients can change up randomly( angel hair pasta in the lo mein).
Common to this industry, is the fact that you have to ask for an itemized receipt. Uncommon to this industry, was an African American employee. The restaurant seemed clean and the food was good. Mind you, in this cuisine, I only eat chicken fried rice and spring rolls. The CFR was good and of good portion. I did not like the spring rolls.
If there would be a possibility to give 0 stars I would. I needed to cancel an order due to the snow storm and was told ?that?s not my problem.? When I asked about how I go about a refund I was yelled at for not being able to pick up the order. Then when I proceeded to say I would go through someone else the woman on the phone responded with ?whatever.? Gave them an $8 tip because of the slow business during the storm, gladly will take that back. I will never be giving them
