Southern Country Cafe - Waldo

All around great stop!! Excellent homemade food!! Service was very friendly and welcoming! Would recommend this cafe to everyone passing through or I would even make a point to route my trip to stop here!

If you live in the area and you're not eating at the Southern Country Cafe, you don't know what you're missing. Homemade baked beans like Mom or Grandma used to make. Fried Green Tomatoes to die for, Steak done to perfection. The staff is absolutely wonderful and very friendly, they make you feel at home. If you're looking for a restaurant that makes (in my opinion) the best homemade food, this is it. I have eaten in many restaurants across the United States and Canada and this was by far the best meal and experience I have ever had. I will definitely be back. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. I would like to thank all the staff for such a wonderful experience. From the girl in the storefront, the gentleman that was outside and of course all of the people who work at Southern Country Cafe. Thank you.

The grits and sausage gravy were truly excellent. We had to wait for a bit, but we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of both the breakfast and the service. This was our first visit, and it definitely won't be our last!

The restaurant is spotless, the food is exceptional, and the staff is very friendly! Don't worry about the wait; it's worth every bite, and the prices are fantastic!
