The BBQ here wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t suit my taste. I wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw, and the BBQ sauce was quite runny. If you're expecting something like Woody's BBQ, it's best to adjust your expectations. However, the location is very convenient for those traveling to or from Little Rock, with a large gravel parking lot that can accommodate semis — there were two parked there when we visited. Although there was a long line, they served everyone quickly. It's a relief not having to go inside a gas station where no one is wearing masks and having to settle for some greasy food that’s been sitting out for hours. Instead, you order at the RV window and can either wait there or head back to your vehicle until your food is ready.
The food here is excellent, and the portions of meat are generous. The ribs are particularly delicious, and the prices are very reasonable—you truly get your money's worth. I have never had a bad meal or experience with the service. I highly recommend Ramsey's; he is a fantastic cook!
This is a very convenient stop, especially for those traveling north on U.S. Highway 49 towards Jonesboro. Like most convenience stores at gas stations, the snacks were quite pricey. The only public restroom was frequently used but remained relatively clean. They offer both diesel fuel and gasoline here. Additionally, there's a restaurant right next door in the same building (Dairy Shack) that I plan to try the next time I'm in the area.
