I have to be honest, dining here is an extraordinary experience! The white rice is incredible! There may not be many ways to prepare white rice, but the flavor is amazing—it reminds me so much of my grandmother's cooking. The authentic aromas and flavors show that they are truly passionate about delivering nothing but the best to their customers. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be returning! Lizzy’s food is AMAZING! She puts so much love into her food. Her menu options are great. Due to some of my food restrictions, she catered to my needs. Amazing customer service, quality and flavorful food. So happy she’s here in Walden!
We stopped here for lunch during the week on a whim. It was awesome! Great selection, friendly staff and the food is just like we cook at home. Thanks for opening in Walden!
Oh my God, this place is the biggest joke, the food is average compared to the other Spanish, Dominican and Puerto Rican places in the area, but they have the weirdest hours, their hours are never accurate online, I went in literally five or six different times at 9 o’clock, maybe 905 or 910 and they close at 10 o’clock on Fridays, and they’re always in the process of closing up early, and the three or four times I did try the food, every single time was a 45 minute wait, and there was nobody else in the place, they have a nice kid that works there, very pleasant, but the food is average at best, super overpriced for what it is, and they are never there, they are never working, they really close an hour to two hours earlier than what the time says online. That is bad business. I ate there a few times because I had to come it was one of the only restaurants in the area, but from now on, I will be going to Nelly in Newburgh and driving the extra 10 minutes because at least I know for sure that they will be open. And the food, on a different level.
1st time trying this establishment tonight and it was INCREDIBLE! The birria tacos and empanadas were delicious. Fair prices and solid portions. Very friendly people too. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.
We received a gift certificate from our realtor for this place. We stopped in for dinner and it was a good choice. I absolutely love places with unique foods that you can't get just anywhere. They had a good selection of stuff. The business is mother and son owned which is awesome and we love supporting local businesses like that. The food was delicious and I highly recommend trying it out.
