Treat yourself to a little break, ideally in the Fürstentalklause... Yesterday we went to the Fürstentalklause for dinner for the first time. We've heard a lot about it, but have never managed to get here. We walked from the island of Scheid, over the jungle bridge, into the Fürstental, that's almost 4 km, one way. The boss personally welcomed us very hospitably. We were lucky that it wasn't busy on a Thursday and we had a table with a beautiful view of the lake. All tables have a lake view. We both ordered a Jägerschnitzel with fries and salad. The schnitzel was heavenly, the fries were crispy, the salad was fresh. The schnitzel was like homemade, fried in the pan, very tender. The portion is oversized, a godsend for men, bad for women's figures. : All in all, an absolute insider tip. Price/performance, for quality and quantity, absolutely fine. The boss does everything to make his guests happy. Very hard working, competent and at eye level with the guests. A small, hidden pearl on the beautiful Edersee. Big praise to the boss and his wife! I give this 5 stars!!

We were invited to the oriental buffet. It was the best. Made with love. Also for vegetarians were delicious things included. Very recommended! The Guardian family is very friendly and accommodating. As soon as you come, you always come. Vegetarian options: Delicious taste! Child-friendly: The family has children themselves and therefore the children have a high priority. A great destination right at the jungle trail at Edersee! We came with a group of 15 people and were welcomed directly. Although there were two groups, we were quick and friendly.
