Stopped in at 9:30am on Friday morning a time of day when you’d expect fresh baked items from a bakery. It’s a tiny shop that had minimal range but I thought I’d try to support a local small business. I asked for a sausage roll and sauce and took it back to my car where I found I was given a roll that was at least a day old and had recently been microwaved. The pastry was soft and the roll itself had gone hard at one end clear tell tale signs of microwaving. Previously I’ve gotten better, fresher products from the service station down the road. I’ll remember that for next time as I won’t be returning here.

I stopped in while traveling and had a wonderful experience! The service was excellent, and the homemade food was beautiful. I ordered a steak, mash pea pie, and a chocolate eclair, all of which were lovely and fresh. Highly recommend!

The only issue I have with this bakery is its opening hours. The workers who are here during the week and travelers can't get anything until 8:00 AM. For an early bakery option, I prefer Armidale.
