Came in for the first time today with my husband. The food was absolutely delicious! Killer pulled pork, brisket and Mac and cheese. Best we’ve had anywhere.
The ribs and brisket were incredibly moist, tender, and juicy. The subtle smokiness paired with the traditional sauce was excellent. The cornbread was delicious—I just wished I had a larger piece! The vinegar coleslaw was among the freshest and crunchiest I’ve ever tasted. The chicken tenders were massive and fried to perfection; dipping them in the sauce made them absolutely perfect. Note that it’s takeout only, but this place is truly a hidden gem in Wakefield—who would have thought!
