What Joselyn Sutherland doesn't like about Pino's Pizza:
I got a pepperoni and pineapple pizza and it’s the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t how people eat the pizza here. I had no choice but to go here cause everywhere else was closed and I wanted pizza soooo bad, I should’ve just starved instead. atleast I wouldn’t had been grossed out. All I tasted was wine for some reason, guess there’s wine in the sauce? idk idc never again. View all feedback.
This is a lovely spot to visit and savor a delicious meal.
I visited Pino's on 460 in Wakefield, VA, and while the food was fantastic and the service was excellent, the atmosphere left much to be desired. One of the waitresses was frequently squatting behind the counter vaping, and the smell was reminiscent of a cherry bomb mixed with a porta-potty – it was quite unpleasant! Customers around me were visibly disturbed by the odor, making it hard to enjoy my meal. To add to the discomfort, another waitress was cleaning the tables with a very strong solution that smelled overwhelmingly of Pine-Sol and bleach. I appreciate that she was keeping the place tidy, but the scent was just as overpowering. It's worth mentioning that there’s a clear “No Smoking” sign on the door, which should also apply to vaping. It seemed like the waitress didn’t realize how noticeable the vape was or how strong the smell could be. A little adjustment in this area could greatly enhance the dining experience.
The menu and the single review provided do not correspond to the restaurant at the specified address. This Pino's Restaurant is nestled in the small community of Wakefield, Virginia, along Highway 460, situated between Petersburg and Virginia Beach. Here, you’ll find Pino's Pizza and Italian Restaurant. Since Miguel Pedraza took over as the owner and chef, my experiences there have consistently been remarkable. I can't single out any specific dish to recommend because everything I've tried (and I've tried a lot) has been fantastic! The house salad dressing is so delightful that I could honestly eat it straight from the bowl—which I have done on occasion! While the menu primarily features Italian cuisine, there are also plenty of options for fans of American food and even a hint of Mexican dishes. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes are generous, the beer is always cold, and the service is warm and welcoming. Anyone traveling along Highway 460 between Petersburg and Virginia Beach should definitely stop by this charming and friendly establishment for a delicious meal.
The owners are incredibly friendly and approachable, and the food is delicious as well. I have no complaints!
Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant in Wakefield! The menu offers a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone's tastes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's a place you absolutely must visit!
