the online order here is incredibly clear with what is vegan and what is not! I finished the samosas and allo gobi based on reviews that I saw on this app and not disappointed! I will definitely be back to try more dinge! I got the regular spicy and it was not burned-your-face-off hot, but if they are not super in season, I would go definitiw for the mild option! What Vince Pergolizzi doesn't like about Maya Indian Grill:
On Friday night, October 20th, I placed an online order two hours in advance. I arrived at the restaurant at the scheduled time, only to wait an hour for my food while I watched over ten other customers pick up their orders. The staff did not offer any explanation for the delay or provide any options to help reduce my wait time. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, but the service and atmosphere were disappointing, bo... I've been coming here for lunch when I am in the area and have never had a bad meal. I generally get the Chicken Biryani with a side of garlic naan and am never disappointed. Our waiter Sai is always happy to see us and makes good suggestions if we dare venture past our normal orders. My colleague got an order of the cheesecake (which seemed odd) but said it was also really good and I'll have to try that next. The portion sizes are quite large compared to anything I've had in Boston/Cambridge and far more flavorful. I highly recommend you come here and try it as this is one of the most authentic Indian places I have eaten at.
Such delicious Indian food, so many flavors spices, dishes I can't replicate at home. Highly recommend for both dining in take-out.
This is the best Indian food I had north of Boston, especially now that some of the previous clamps closed or under new property. They have many different elements on their menu that are not traditionally vegan that they can be vegan and offer a variety of alternatives. Can be expensive, but it's worth it.
My husband and I (vegan) came here with another couple (not vegan). Love that the menu clearly marks vegan, vegetarian, and GF dishes!! There were 4 vegan appetizers, and we chose the Gobi Manchurain (cauliflower). I think the non-vegan couple liked it as much as we did. There was a whole section of vegetarian dishes including 7 vegan entrees. We ordered the Vegetable Karahi and Aloo Gobi Masala.......both were extremely good. Bold and interesting flavors, yet you can dictate your own hot/spice level. Service was great too. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
Vegan options are clearly marked, there are plenty of options, and everything is flavorful and delicious.
