Reviews - Java Madness
Reviews summary
Perched above the salt pond, this cozy café is known for friendly, speedy service, a broad coffee menu and a sunny deck with boatyard views. Bagel and breakfast sandwiches and flavored iced coffees are standouts, often accompanied by live music that enhances a relaxed, scenic vibe. Quality can be uneven — some pastries stale and some eggs pre-made — and occasional service/packaging issues have been noted. Still, its warm staff and waterside atmosphere make it a pleasant casual spot worth returning to for coffee and views.

Great tasting iced coffee and desserts. Large outside deck that overlooks the boat yard and Upper Pond. They generally have a musician playing which makes it for a nice setting. View all feedback.
What Daniel Orzelek dislikes about Java Madness:
Breakfast egg bacon sandwich is a rubber McDonald’s version of a mcMuffin. The Turkey pesto sandwich was ok, but nothing to boast about. Coffee was decent. Bring your own mug, because their coffee cups are so flimsy, that your coffee will be in your lap… View all feedback.

Coffee was just ok, lemon pound cake was expired over 2 days old (per their own date on it). Tasted like sand paper , it was dry, and we simply tossed in the garbage and went somewhere else. Kids running the show... a bit careless.
Best service in the area from coffee shops, these nice people always have a smile. Triple shot iced espresso and everything bagel with egg, chorizo and American cheese is a great way to start your day!
A pleasant shop overlooking the water, not too far from SC Hospital. Polite and helpful staff. I liked the breakfast sandwiches and a good selection of teas.
We were greeted immediately by a super friendly young man who took our order and it was ready quickly. We enjoyed our delicious latte and americano great high quality coffee we also enjoyed our croissant sandwich and quiche. It was our first time here and we will be back. Highly recommend!

Great location, very good coffee and good breakfast sandwiches. The people were excellent, even when it was very crowded and busy.
Great little place by the water. We enjoyed some lattes and tea. All good! Their pastries were yummy as well. Service was very friendly. Parking: Lots of spots across the street, some directly in front of the cafe. Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t think so (unless they have a ramp I missed)
What a great place! The staff was awesome, totally gets you smiling so friendly!! Definitely stop in!???
The coffee here is superior to that of any of the chains, and the atmosphere is far more enjoyable!

I absolutely love this place—definitely a 5-star experience! The barista playfully sniffed three wrapped muffins with his nostrils to guess their flavors, which made me laugh out loud. I glanced around to see if the eight or so people in line noticed my reaction. Did I buy one and enjoy it? Absolutely! I think the concerns around Covid are exaggerated, and those muffins are simply delightful! I'm curious about who ended up with the other two, haha!
Fantastic venue! Delicious food, friendly staff, and live music! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
This is a fantastic spot for coffee and a quick snack. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed.
Very friendly neighborhood coffee and lunch place. Good sandwiches (reuben, veggie, are great). Good live music. Nicely decorated and enjoyable wind-shaded/sun-shaded deck.
