This was my first visit, and I enjoyed the food overall. My fish was a bit tough because it was overcooked, but the rest of my meal was excellent. My daughter ordered the chicken with chips and coleslaw, and she said it was amazing, especially with the BBQ sauce drizzled all over the chicken. This was my first visit, and I enjoyed the food overall. My fish was a bit tough because it was overcooked, but the rest of my meal was excellent. My daughter ordered the chicken with chips and coleslaw, and she said it was amazing, especially with the BBQ sauce drizzled all over the chicken. There was plenty of sauce, enough to cover the chips as well. We visited on a Thursday and took advantage of the free dessert option, which pleasantly surprised us with how thick the piece of cake was! We couldn't finish it all. It made for a lovely meal after a long 5-hour drive. Thank you!
We dined here today for a birthday celebration, and both the food and service were outstanding! The staff was incredibly friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant for great food and a wonderful atmosphere.
I'm a big fan of The Walnut Tree! They offer excellent food at a fantastic price. They have quality beer on tap, and the staff will even reserve a table for major sports events. Highly recommend this place in Wakefield!
