Nestled in the heart of the community, this charming charity café has become a beloved destination for locals. Renowned for its freshly prepared, homemade meals and generous portions, the menu features everything from Mediterranean platters to hearty breakfasts. Patrons rave about the exceptional quality and value, often noting the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by dedicated staff and enthusiastic volunteers. With an impressive selection of baked goods and beverages—including gluten-free options—there’s something for everyone. This café not only satisfies appetites but also supports the community, making each visit a rewarding experience. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!.
Now had three visits for a quick bite over lunchtime and not been once disappointed. Tasty BLT ... the bread, mayo, lots of back bacon and presentation are hotel standard. and the huge breakfast on a bun with black pudding is enormous and well worth the money if you can eat so much for lunch and still get on with the afternoon jobs. Passed the Spring for years with its white light entrance on the way home from Wakefield and never realized that there was a car park for customers behind. Also saw some great cakes and desserts.... even gluten free but too full after a good lunch. Plus, a very nice welcome from the team taking orders. Good coffee and tea choices and lactose free milk. Well impressed.
This place is the most amazing charity cafe ever!!!! The food is fresh, local and home cooked by such lovely staff. The food is served by volunteers that are warm and welcoming. No words on trip advisor can tell you about this place apart from you MUST VISIT IT. Only not between 12:30 and 1:00. That's my time slot and I like my table. However, please try it and try the up and coming home cooked Christmas dinner.
This place really is fantastic, a wonderful establishment run by wonderful people who can't do enough to help! The food and drinks are amazing and always freshly made. Always worth popping your head in the door for a drink and a browse of what they have in with the shop or what they have on!
This restaurant surpasses many high street cafes and restaurants. They use high quality ingredients that are beautifully cooked, all at amazing prices. I highly recommend it.
