The fish was, as always, excellent, but the chips were slightly overcooked and tasted like they had been reheated. I used to think they were the best fish and chips in the area, but this experience was disappointing. However, I returned today and placed an order, and everything was excellent. The manager addressed my earlier complaint, and I was very pleased with how he handled the situation. View all feedback.
This is our 3rd visit in 3 weeks now and in my opinion is the best chippy in Yorkshire.The staff are very friendly and the The meal portions are enough to fill.The restaurant so I've been told has had a make over recently so looks really nice too. will definitely be going back again soon.
The first time here (we are not the last.) we had a nice Sunday dinner. very pleasant decor, great staff and excellent well cooked fresh fish chips. What else could you ask?
Fantastic chippy. Its worth going just for the fish cake alone. The haddock was beautiful, the onion rings were amazing and the scraps were mouth watering. Would definitely recommend
