The food from the new menu was excellent, service was brilliant and a comparable standard with some Leeds restaurants that have made it into the Michelin guide. Highly recommended.

However, once inside, you are welcomed by friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of options with generous portion sizes, all served hot and at reasonable prices. We would certainly return for another visit.

We didn't have a reservation when we arrived, but we were given a table straight away, the restaurant was cozy and the staff were attentive, my starter arrived... read more We didn't have a reservation when we arrived, but we were given a table straight away, the restaurant was cozy and the staff were attentive, my starter arrived and it was really nice, unfortunately I don't remember the name but it was calamari, I also ordered the French steak for £15 on the steak menu, it came with fries and bearnaise sauce, I asked for rare, the steak arrived, very thin, medium cooked and very fatty, it was so disappointing, I left all the fat which ment there was quite a bit left on my plate, now as a restaurant if someone had clearly left a lot of fat on the plate, I'd be asking if their was a problem, but sadly nothing was said. It wasn't a bad experience, it was just disappointing, first time customers unfortunately the last as well
