We were both very pleased with our main courses and desserts, which were reasonably priced. We both agreed that we would definitely come back. The service and staff were excellent.

I highly rec... read more The food at this restaurant is amazing and the prices are brilliant. The atmosphere is very homely and the staff are lovely and polite to everyone. I highly recommend the breakfast, but you can order anything on the menu at any time of day. I had sausage, beans, and homemade chips, while my husband had the large breakfast. The portions are huge, and the hand-cut chunky chips were delicious. The staff, including Sarah and Aiden, were fantastic. This restaurant in Wakefield comes highly recommended and we will definitely be back when we are in the area. The menu is great and even my fussy eating habits were satisfied. We left feeling full, content, and ready for the day. The only disappointment is that this restaurant is not in our home town.

I had a Brie Cranberry Panini with side salad which was okay. The accompanying Latte was again, okay. My partner liked the look of the meal being taken by a fellow diner. She asked the waitress what it was but she was unable to identify it for certain but thought it could be chicken salad. So we ordered that. The salad with chicken then arrived. The chicken comprised hot, tasteless lumps of salty, discoloured unsliced meat. Beyond the initial tentative bite, not a morsel was touched. The My partner's complaint was met with an apology but full payment was still taken. No points then.
