Description

Nestled in a recently refurbished space, this restaurant has garnered a spectrum of reviews—from delightful to disappointing. While some patrons rave about flavorful dishes like the chicken passandra and the pleasant ambiance, others lament over poorly executed items like tasteless biryani and soggy onion bhajis. Service experiences vary, with some guests appreciating attentive staff and others feeling neglected. There’s also mention of a helpful promotional deal making the dining experience more economical. Overall, those seeking a reliable meal might want to reconsider, as opinions on quality remain polarized.

Oh dear, this as got to be the worst meat biryani with uncooked onion slop ive ever had, It smells disgusting. The onion bhaji's, just rings with unspiced batter, what's that about.? Chicken Tikka, well, tasteless tikka. Everthing I got went in the bin. What a waste of money that was. Never will I get another from there. How people can give that a good rating gets me!, obviously they haven't been anywhere else for a curry.

I came to this restaurant on a whim and regret it. I have never seen onion bhajis like the ones here before. The main dishes were just average. I will not be returning.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening and found that about half of the tables were available. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal to ensure everything was satisfactory. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I have had two wonderful experiences here and plan to return next time I am in Pontefract. It's worth noting that starting in February, the restaurant will no longer be licensed, so patrons will need to bring their own alcohol.
