We've been here for 20 years. Years. Always happy with the food and service. New owners of a few years ago wear on the fine family tradition, but now with yummy vegan options. Customer for life. Mahalo!

The portions here are generous, and the prices are fair. Each meal comes with either three sides of rice or four sides. The owner runs the front of the house, while her husband takes care of the cooking in the kitchen. While they offer drinks for purchase, you’re welcome to enjoy complimentary water and hot barley tea. We returned on our last day on the island to indulge in the ulu pancake once more, but unfortunately, it wasn't available that day because the ulu was not yet ripe. The owner, however, was incredibly kind and gifted us a free kimbap as a farewell treat.
