Description

Nestled conveniently near the main train station, this cozy restaurant offers a delightful fusion of Japanese and American cuisine. Patrons rave about the unique sushi burritos—essentially hand rolls wrapped in nori—as well as the satisfying burgers, particularly the Old Skool variety. The atmosphere is inviting, with ample outdoor seating that enhances the casual dining experience. Though occasionally out of some menu items, including milkshakes, the friendly staff and quick service make for an enjoyable meal. Furikake fries, albeit slightly salty, pair well with the burgers, making this spot a perfect choice for a leisurely lunch or light dinner.

Great little place for delicious burgers and burritos right off the main drag. Quaint, atmosphere is fantastic, awesome outdoor seating. I had the Old Skool burger ????. Delicious. Their fries are perfectly done ?. Be sure to stop in for lunch...you won'tbe disappointed.

I loved this spot that serves delicious burgers along with sushi burritos and poke bowls. They also offer beer and sake. There are a few tables outside in the rear garden and out front, as well as some inside. The bathroom is surprisingly nice! It’s great for lunch or a light dinner. Just watch out for the chickens—they’ll jump onto your table and snatch your food!

Kenji is a Japanese-style restaurant that offers American dishes with a Japanese twist. Initially, I was skeptical about the sushi burrito, but it turned out to be a hand roll wrapped in nori, just as expected. The Hapa Burger looked small at first, but it ended up filling my husband quite well. Overall, everything was excellent, served quickly, and we were greeted by a very friendly woman behind the counter.

Kenji is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal in the area. It's perfect for grabbing food to take to the beach. When we visited, they were out of milkshakes (which was disappointing) and one other item. We ordered the rainbow burrito sushi roll, a burger, and furikake fries. The fries were flavorful but very salty, so I recommend eating your burger first. I started with the fries, which made the burger seem bland, but my husband, who started with the burger, thought it was decent. The rainbow burrito roll was the highlight—delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

This restaurant has a Japanese-inspired concept that offers American dishes with a unique twist. I was initially skeptical when I saw the sushi burrito on the menu, but it turned out to be just a hand roll wrapped in nori. The hapa burger appeared small at first, but it ended up satisfying my partner completely. Overall, everything was delicious, the service was quick, and there was a lovely woman behind the counter.
