Some guests found the service to be subpar and below expectations, while others raved about the outstanding meal and impeccable service. The food received high praise, especially the seafood items and fusion dishes. Prices were noted as high but worth it for the quality. Some minor issues were mentioned, such as a mix-up with wine selection or being seated in a less desirable location. However, many diners expressed their intention to return based on past positive experiences. The restaurant seems to cater well to foodies and those looking for a special dining experience.
We had the worst experience on our 10 year anniversary. The food was overpriced and it took 45 minutes to get one steak.
Maybe one of the best meals of my life. The tuna was so spectacular, and even the chocolate chip cookies were just that much better than all others. I know Spago has many locations but this one (and I assume the others) all tailor towards the local cuisine, so the Hawaiian fusion menu items really felt special. While it’s on the pricey side, I would say it was worth it. The view, the serving staff, and really everything was top notch.
Outstanding service and recommendation of flavorful bites. We did our own tasting menu and our waiter was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable in helping us through an amazing dinner.
A good fine dining experience here w/ a spectacular view
We have dined all over the world from the Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong to Alain Ducasse in Paris and I must say that Spago Maui was delightful beyond compare. Our head server David and his assistant Erin were exceptional! Even Sararose Spago’s lovely general manager visited our table to greet us.
