Love the new things here! My favorite beer on **** is the Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA in a large, frosted schooner. Beautiful, new happy hour menu and the hours are longer, from 3-7pm. Great atmosphere right on the golf course with indoor and outdoor seating, a beautiful bar for sitting, TV and live music on Saturday nights. Fun neighborhood bar! View all feedback.
I absolutely love the new offerings here! My favorite drink on the menu is the Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA, especially when served in a large, frosted schooner. The happy hour menu is fantastic and has been revamped, with extended hours from 3 to 7 PM. The atmosphere is wonderful, located right on the golf course, and there are both indoor and outdoor seating options available. The bar is beautifully designed, and they have TVs for watching games and live music on Saturday nights. It's a really fun neighborhood bar!
Halibut fish and chips? It's a rare find on the islands! The portions are generous and the prices are fantastic. They also have the best happy hour on the island—Ice Climbs IPA for under $5.00!
I really enjoy the music! It's a family-friendly atmosphere with a fantastic menu that caters to all ages!
Overall, this place is a 4/5 would recommend. There are not very many restaurants in this area, so they have a great chance, but maybe the demographies don't support something higher. I asked in the KTA (the foods when it was good, but they had not eaten there. Also I couldn't find a menu online. The interior is basically bar, but for the bar and some tables and TVs. This is a 19th hole type spot on a golf course, so it is something expected, but also in this context the interior was remarkably nude. I went to the end of the happy hour to go some food and some beers while I was waiting. The bartender was very fast and friendly, and the bar rail was about 60% full of locals, all kindly enjoying their drinks. They offer Schioner of beer, which are very thick glass that they store in the freezer, definitely keeps the beer colder over time. Only a couple had food. Normally all these red flags would have convinced me, but as I said, the options are limited and we have tried most of them until now. They also offer Korean and American foods according to their description. We love Korean food and currently this is the only place to get it in Waikoloa Village (the KTA can occasionally Korean elements in the deli, it is quite good as well. The menu has an excellent variety, it should be something for everyone. I'll say we just ordered pizza, wings, fries and a few Korean standards. They do not mention that they also have a pizza kitchen that is a huge plus (maybe the only pizza in Waikoloa village!!!, but this leads to one of my two reviews of the food. First, the cheese pizza was a bit overdue, just upstairs. The cheese was basically evenly brown, while the crust edge and the soil were not overdue. It wasn't unbearable, but I had to do an operation in the house to get the children to eat it. My only other criticism was the Makkaronisalat. This supplement is quite ubiquitous in Hawaii, but the problem here was too much mayonnaise in the recipe. I often had it in many places, so I know it's not normal. I ordered Kalbi, Boggi and Yangnyeom wings for the adult and simple cheese pizza and a side of French fries for the children. I asked for a few pages of Kimchee and was courtesy of the menu of Korean spiced vegetables for a charging. No problem. I thought they were tired of explaining to tourists Kimchee and calling it something else. They were indeed pickled vegetables from Gurke, Daikon, Baby Bok Choy and some sort of seaweed. I don't think they were fermented, but otherwise, very pleasant, like Kimchee minus the depth of taste from fermentation. The wings were excellent, like the Kalbi and Boggi. There was no diving sauce (Franch or blue cheese with the wings, so you probably wish this, but the spices of the Korean sauce was right at the point for my wife and I to share. Maybe like a 3 out of 5 levels picy. As I said, I recommend it. Maybe let them know if you don't want the cheese to be almost burned on the pizza, like a local preference or something.
Great place with a great atmosphere! You get a really amazing view of the golf course and the mountains and trees. The breakfast items are unreal, especially their pancakes. When I heard the plate came with two pancakes I thought, no big deal , but the pancakes are HUGE! Two pancakes are more than enough for me (I didn 't even finish). Scott, the bartender, was super helpful as well. Great recommendations on food, and very friendly. A great place to stop after hitting the golf course, or just in general.
