What User doesn't like about The Mill House:
Eaten here many times, hands down star, got new chef and all the little things that put you on the map in Maui, Gone. Attention to detail Gone. Loved having French press with dessert, desserts have became Bla-bla-bla. Bartender staff still on Q!! Waiters are clueless, not how it was year ago, so sad View all feedback.
This morning came to the breakfast here to the mill house and then dinner for the birthday of my dad. the staff was incredibly friendly and very welcoming and eating was incredible. we had the ube pancakes, pork belly hash, crabcake benedict and avocado toast to breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. the evening meal was also wonderful. the prime rib and slow cooked lamb shank were very well seasoned and everything was honest. the drinks were incredible, especially the waikspy mule and the aloha maid. this restaurant gets two thumbs from me!
Great view here in the valley and eating is also good. only at the bottom was that we went about 1:30 a.m. and they were already running out of most popular dresses for lunch.
We had a great experience! the staff was very friendly, very helpful, answered all the questions we had, were patient with us! great eating, good portions with beautiful view! drinks at the point of malasadas we die! lunch
One of my absolute favorite places we visited. The drive there was scenic and very enjoyable. So dont let the distance deter you from visiting this must see place. The mountain views were the most breathtaking I've ever had. I was in complete awe. We were able to walk around and enjoy all the lush greenery. We didn't take the train tour. We came for an early dinner. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. You will not regret it. One of the highlights of our maui visit!
The location is great and so was the food. With that said, I was pretty bummed as we were celebrating my wife's birthday and I called ahead and ordered a dessert with candle and all that to be brought out after dinner as a surprise. They brought out dessert menus so I figured they forgot, we finished up and asked for the bill. Seeing it was on the bill, they then awkwardly brought one out but it just felt like an afterthought In the end, I would go there again as the food was really good but I don't think I would go to celebrate anything as my advanced requests were basically forgotten until the meal was over. *With the exception of the host who said happy birthday when she sat us.
