We love everything about this place! It?s a quick drive for us so I?m always finding myself wanting to go back and try more. The food is always quality and the service is perfect, every time. We?ve usually visited for dinner and ice cream treats, but breakfast is next on our list! Update! A few more dinners and never a disappointing meal! Still trying to make it for breakfast but we?ve made this our weekly go-to. View all feedback.
What Marcus Floyd doesn't like about The Smoking Boar The Coconut:
We looked forward to eating here after driving an hour from Waikiki Beach, but when my wife asked a second question about their gluten-free options, the lady taking the orders at the counter responded very rudely and dismissive of her dietary restrictions. It may help to clearly mark the gluten-free items in the menu IMHO. Best of luck to you! View all feedback.

Such a great Hawaiian local eating experience. Got the ali'i plate and enjoyed the luau, the sweet potato and ulu laulau, poke, rice, and Mac salad. The poke nachos were so good! The milkshakes were a little runny, for my liking, but flavor was great. The overall experience was lovely, with the outdoor seating, the family atmosphere, and happy employees. Definitely will come back when on the north shore!
Wow. Just wow. Went for lunch and was absolutely blown away. Ordered the pork and gravy with a side salad. First off, the salad was just beautiful. After several days of eating far too many veggies, a $4 salad that looks and tasted like this was unbelievable. Pork was fall apart tender, with a delicious gravy. Mac salad is very peppery and creamy. Shocked I hadn't heard of this spot before, it's fantastic
A local gem! We were passing through the area and was looking for a place to eat. The name stood out to me and based off of the reviews we decided to try and I?m so glad we did! The food was soooo delicious. We got the Roast Pork, Kalbi, and Poke. Everything came out relatively fast and they had good customer service. I would definitely come back.
We ordered the mix of cooked pork, galbi, and teriyaki chicken as well as mango smoothie. The food quality is average. One thing unique about this restaurant is that there are two hens living in the frontyard. We enjoyed interacting with them. They seemed to like steamed rice and veggies. One of them (the darker and bigger one) seemed to have dominance over the other. It was quite an interesting experience watching them.
