Banyan's Island Grill - Waialua

The best food is sometimes in the most random locations. Word of mouth among island friends brought us here. We were kindly welcomed upon our arrival and recommend the poke. My husband ordered the poke, I ordered fish taco plate with fries, and our 7 year old ordered the burger. We were told about 20 minutes but it came out much quicker than that. This location has 6 picnic style tables that are covered. We chose to relax and eat our food there while it was fresh. Our food was brought out to us once it was ready, 10 minutes or so after we ordered. Everything was so delicious. We look forward to coming back for lunch next time we find ourselves over on this side of the island. Our 7 year old rates this location “10 million thousand out of 10.”

The best Poke in Oahu! We went there after spending the morning at Waimea Valley and beach hoping in the northern Oahu. After driving back from Polo beach, we were looking for good food and found this hidden gem with 5/5 rating. Ow I understand why! This is a lunch truck with tented seating area bit food was top class! I opted for Spicy Poke bowl and my family ordered The plate (Ahi was the fresh catch of the day). Both were great! We were full and satisfied!

This place ended up being one of the highlights of our Oahu trip. My wife and I weren’t too hungry, so we decided to share the barbecue chicken plate and a side of fries. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the folks in the truck were very nice. I wish we had time to keep coming back and trying more things on the menu!

We’ve enjoyed many various places while visiting Oahu but Banyan’s Island Grill is our favorite. The BBQ chicken was tender and flavorful. The fish wrap was amazing! Definitely recommend trying this place out.

The dining experience was fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly. The fries and house-made dipping sauce were mind-blowing!
