We had the $110 three course with wine matching and were very happy with dishes. The entrees scallop entree and prosciutto entree were both delicious. For the main, we had the chargrilled black Angus steak which had amazing flavour...was just a tad on the salty side if I had to name a fault. Service was great add you would expect. If you're not dining here, it's still worth visiting the All Saints cellars door...it's... View all feedback.
What KeepSmiling doesn't like about Terrace At All Saints Estate:
A disappointing lunch in picturesque gardens. We had a family lunch at The Terrace. The restaurant was almost full. As bookings were essential, they had no excuse for painfully slow food and wine service. The meal was based on two courses and expensive. Our entrees were tiny offerings. When we ordered the main course of beef, we were told there would be a forty minute delay. Not good enough.Disappointing also that ther... View all feedback.
Terrace Restaurant has forged its reputation as one of the country's destination restaurants and it is easy to understand why. With stints in London at OXO and Harvey Nicholls' ‘Fifth Floor’ Michelin star restaurants and in Melbourne's The Elbow Room, Comme and The Prince, Arkless' strong grounding in European gastronomy and passion for fresh and local seasonal produce shines through. The menu prioritises flavour, boasting dishes of tried and true flavour combinations prepared with exceptional technique and utilising high quality, local produce (including All Saints Estate grown lamb, pork and fresh eggs).
Love this place all the food and wines were delicious! We purchased the wines afterwards to take home. The views are beautiful and the staff knowledge and assistance was fantastic. We had the three courses matched with the wines it was all excellent. Can’t wait to return
Had the Set Lunch on Boxing Day with my partner and we were both very pleased with the food. Despite the restaurant being smaller than I had anticipated we were seated well at the edge of the window which gave us our own intimate corner of privacy. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. All of our dishes were beautifully presented, well portioned and flavoursome. Our standout favourites being the beef dish and the chocolate dessert! It also surprised us how much we both loved the Sparkling Shiraz from All Saints. Went down a treat on a hot summer day!
What a wonderful evening we had here. One of our group was wise enough to book this and well done to them indeed. It's hard to praise this establishment enough. Every dish in the degustation was outstanding. My words couldn't possibly do them justice so I simply say just see the photos I've posted. This is fine dining of a high order without a ridiculous price tag attached. Every single dish and every mouthful was delicious. The accompanying wines were excellent too. We were allowed to take our initial tipple in the tasting room. Not only was a delicious sparkling brought to us, but sparkling water too. It was all up from there and as I've mentioned, all dishes were superb. The service from the lovely Bec was fantastic as well. Wonderfully friendly and superbly efficient. Service of the highest order indeed. (And our thanks to Toby cakes too who picked us up in town and dropped us back too). Our group of five had such a great time at the Terrace. Don't hesitate to come here. It's excellent. Thanks again. This is how all good restaurants should be.
As soon as you turn off onto the tree-lined road leading up to All Saints Estate you get the feeling that you’re about to have a quality experience. You walk through a huge rustic tasting room into a lovely covered outdoor dining area where, when you sit, you’re at eye level to the grass which is something a bit different. Everyone you pass is smiling and obviously having a good time and the staff are friendy.
