De Lish - Wagga Wagga

The restaurant is under new ownership and is currently closed. I hope that when it reopens, it will maintain the same tradition as Darryl and Dorrice Lamotte.

I had a lovely experience at De Lish this morning when we ordered a brunch-style meal that included a Chicken Focaccia Roll, a club sandwich, coffee, and tea. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portion sizes were great. The cafe itself was clean, well-organized, airy, and well-lit, making it a pleasant place to dine. The only minor issues were that the carpet in the seating area was a bit stained and there was a missed napkin with my order, but these are small details. Overall, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely return.

Counter service good (normally don't like being called "Darl" by counter staff but I could live with it on this occasion). Delivery of order was prompt and especially fresh and tasty. Serving sizes great. Coffee and tea good, well presented, placed on table appropriately etc. Cafe is clean, well appointed, airy, and well lit. Quite frankly a pleasure. 5 out of 5 stars - but if I was a bit picky I would say (and the first item may be out of the current store owners hands) carpet in the seating area is a bit stained and detracting; and staff person missed a serviette with my order - but those comments are just meant to be constructive. We WILL be back.

This is a really nice restaurant with fabulous food. Friendly staff and a quite ambiance. Highly recommended

I ordered the Irish potatoes, but it seems like there may be a potato shortage. The dish consisted of one potato cut in half, topped with bacon and cheese, and served with about 6 rocket leaves on the side.
