Decided to give this place a second try, it's been about 8 years or so since we had been to Don Quijotes.I really enjoyed the live music and the staff was entertaining. The owner came up to us several times and made sure everything was satisfactory. I really enjoyed the butter that came with the bread and the two plates that came out before our meal. Owner talks to every patron asks how there doing at least twice. His wife the pastry chef comes round to check how you liked your dessert. If you didn’t like that she will exchange it for another. The four of us devoured ours. Wonderful time!!
Spectacular food, Mrs. Elena makes some impressive desserts, and the paella is a 10!!! It's the first time we come and we already want to come back again!!!! If you want to eat real Spanish food this is your place. The pork loin is a 10 and please try their desserts!!!! The flan and rice pudding!!!!!out of 10.
Stopped by for lunch after spending the morning at the Dunes. Three of us shared the tapas sampler. Excellent food, good service. The owner was lovely. We will be back!
The absolute best service and food. It 's hard to find a place that makes a paella right! This place is the fo 'sho thang! My 10 year old (who 's a true foodie-takes after her mother) daughter just corrected me after saying I know food said, no, you know restaurants! She stands corrected. We travel for food. I 'm currently living in Michigan, by way of NYC, but in Indiana for the first time for a funeral, and thank the good Lord we found this place. The owner 's wife is the sweetest and a great sales person. Talked me into a desert which I shouldn 't have had, but was so darn freaking good!! I forgot the name of it and I didn 't take a picture of it, but everything 's gotta be good! The waiter was so kind and very accommodating. Their limonada sangría is annually best!
Don Quijote is one of the best Spanish restaurants we have visited. This is the third time we’ve been, and the experience has always been wonderful. Every time we go to Valparaíso, this restaurant becomes a must-stop due to its excellent service and delicious food. The service is impeccable; the waiter made us feel at home, and the owner is incredibly friendly. Additionally, a gentleman was playing very pleasant music, which made our visit even more special. I would definitely go back and recommend it always.
