After our disappointing visit to the schloss vyborg we stopped here for lunch. eating was good and the beer cold. it wasn't gourmet by any stretch, but certainl... read more After our disappointing visit to the schloss vyborg we stopped here for lunch. eating was good and the beer cold. it wasn't gourmet by any stretch, but certainly edible. our waitress was friendly and helpful. my son had the bear "in Russian" and he liked him because he was new and different. I don't eat meat, and the non-meat options were limited to grilled vegetables and brot, both good, even if not inspired. the restaurant location is central to the castle and along the street, where there are some tourist shops and a very interesting antique shop. You could be worse than that in a long shot.

I ordered creamy suppe with salmon and I didn't finish it: the fish tasted strange. Wein was okay. 2 stars for the wonderful location.

Very nice and it tasted good. So if you are not sure, just ask!
