Was Anonym at Espilya a mag?
We enjoyed a bottle of Russian champagne and a pitcher of delicious old-fashioned lemonade on the terrace. The service was very polite, and we returned the next day for a cup of coffee. We look forward to having dinner there the next time we visit. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Espilya:
Small city ,a lot of restaurants but in general still far away quality from quality of saint petersburg restaurants...however this one is quite good and we have visited many times.Building old and historical from Finland era and also good for partys. Location middle of city...at park area near Vyborg hotel. Food ok ...beer might be colder.... View all feedback.

My friend told me about this restaurant and it surprised me nicely . I could feel the finnish atmosphere. Interior is very stylish and seating is so comfortable. Staff is polite and efficient, speaks english so you can even have a small talk with them....Food tasted great, I had also dessert and coffee and everything pleased me.
The restaurant was nicely decorated and had air conditioning, which was appreciated given the 30-degree weather outside. The prices were higher than in Vyborg, but not unreasonably so. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We would consider returning if they could improve their slow kitchen service.
Parking is available nearby, although it may take some effort to find. The food was excellent. We had Olivier salad (known as Russian salad outside the country) with tongue, borscht, solyanka, pike patties, calf with asparagus, apple juice, green tea, and a few glasses of Crimean wine. The service was impeccable. We were greeted at the entrance, seated by the window, and promptly given menus. Our waiter, Galya, quickly took our order and the starters arrived in about ten minutes. Special mention should be given to her as our five-year-old grandson was very hungry, and she immediately brought him his borscht. The total bill came to 4400 rur (approx. 59 USD) for the three of us, which we found to be reasonable. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended – one of the best, if not the best, in the city.
Beautiful, quiet, painter little place. the restaurant has a separate bistro for a fast bite. service is nice and the food is good. the place is also very fascinating, as it is a rebuilt version of the historical restaurant (est 1898), which was burned down in the previous century. a very unique place.
