Vulcan Country Inn

I absolutely love this restaurant. I finally got the chance to try it out one evening with a friend, after hearing great things about it for a while.

The title was a little misleading as the last meal we expected from a 'country inn' was Chinese. However we were made very welcome. Our lunch was an all you can eat buffet at a reasonable price. One lady was working at the reception and taking our order and waitressing so perhaps it was good that it was self-service. In fact the food was fresh and hot and checked frequently. There was some choice for the vegetarian member of our party.

By far the best fettuccine I've eaten in many years. The price was more reasonable than the big city eateries and the service was excellent. Sorry the picture only shows the empty bowl but I was too busy enjoying it to catch a shot earlier

Well, the gyoza was good, but we didn't enjoy anything else. My son ordered nachos and we asked if they were spicy, and we were told no, but they were covered with raw onions and little cheese - not $12 worth. He was quite disappointed. I had a sushi platter, and I love sushi, but the rolls fell apart and had so much rice that you could not taste anything else. The presentation was beautiful though. My husband had a bolgoki burger based on another reviewer on here and he did not like it. The tomato was so hard that when he tried to take a bite, the whole burger fell apart. The young man serving was friendly, and the gyoza was good. I feel bad about the review, but it is our experience. There was another table nearby who had a ton of sushi and they seemed to love it - I have sushi quite often, and this is not a place where I would go to again for it.

Our first time here. The food was tasty and well prepared. Service was superb. Our waiter appeared to be part of the family management. He did a fine job.
