Gourmet restaurant with select wine pairings. Very fine wine collection to choose from. Menu has very limited choice, but beautifully cooked. Not vegetarian. Service very friendly and attentive, overlooking the lake. Highly recommended.

First of all, the service at the restaurant is amazing! The food is excellent and the wine is wonderful. We really enjoyed the waiter’s experience and knowledge of wine. If you are a wine enthusiast, this is the restaurant for you! Worth the visit!

When you first descend to the basement level of this restaurant, you will be in for a surprise. The sight of rows of wine stacked from floor to ceiling, surrounded by the smell of wooden boxes and an old cellar, is something you would not have expected. It is truly amazing what a person's passion can achieve. This restaurant boasts one of the best wine collections available, as long as you are willing to pay for it. You only need to spend a small amount of money to enjoy this experience. Take a moment to admire the impressive display of wines. We had a wonderful time sipping champagne in the cellar.

If you are in Voss and looking for a pleasant dinner with good wine, I highly recommend Elysee. This charming little restaurant offers delicious food and an impressive selection of wines. My experiences dining here have always been enjoyable and I never get bored or tired of returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by the lunch buffet. Upon arriving in Voss, Norway, I was eager to try all the local ways of preparing salmon and shrimp. The buffet exceeded my expectations by offering a variety of dishes featuring both. There were also plenty of healthy options, including a fantastic salad bar. The dessert selection was lacking in variety, with all options tasting similar but in different colors. Despite this, we were seated at a lovely table by the window and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
