I think this may have become my most favourite pizza place in Italy.

The waitress was friendly and helpful, even splitting our entrees onto 2 plates so we could share easily. We had the best risotto we’ve ever had—(and we lived in Milan for several months. We also shared the tender beefsteak with rosemary, a green salad with nuts and honey, fried potatoes and a panna cotta for dessert. One of those meals that makes you smile with satisfaction. My husband insisted on going to the kitchen to congratulate the cooks, and we took a photo together. Lovely people and delicious food!

The pici cacio e pepe were excellent, and the lam... read more We went to Don Beta to celebrate a birthday in Volterra: an authentic atmosphere and excellent Tuscan cuisine. The pici cacio e pepe were excellent, and the lampredotto was truly exquisite. We recommend it to our guests and travelers visiting Volterra and Tuscany.
