The owner, an older (70) and nice gentleman, was very friendly and served us well. We each had a Hungarian goulash soup, a hunter's schnitzel with fries and salad, and a Forsthaus schnitzel with hollandaise mushrooms and bacon, along with two rostis, buttered rice, and a salad from the salad buffet. Two Cokes and a Radler for €49.30. It's a small, older restaurant that's past its prime, but that doesn't matter to me in this case. Unfortunately, this was our first time here and we're sad because the owners are closing at the end of this year (2023). But at 70, it's okay to start thinking aloud about retirement. We will definitely come back here again before the end of the year, because it was truly delicious.
