Ponte Di Riposo - VO'

While touring the Colli Euganei area with friends I had the good fortune to have dinner at Ponte del Riposo. It is a wonderful place. Outside, it is not much to look at but inside it is warm and exquisitely decorated. The food and wine are both excellent. There is an extensive wine list focusing on the best of the region. Our Sassonero Merlot was outstanding. We had a lovely Passito with dessert. The grappa was excellent. I had the good fortune to sample everyone's dinner. My gnocchi (made on site) con tartufo was exceptional. The risotto con porcini was also quite spectacular. There was a choice of 12 desserts. We had 5 different ones at the table and everyone was satisfied with their choice. The chocolate pyramid was voted as having the best presentation. If you are anywhere in the vicinity of Vo, stop by for dinner.

Una serata molto piacevole, cibo molto morbido e tutto delizioso, cordialità e sorrisi che mi hanno fatto sentire a mio agio. Grazie per il benvenuto, tornerò sicuramente. Cristina - 23 giugno 2022.

L'ambiente è piacevole e ben curato sia all'interno che all'esterno, dove l'attrezzatura è eccellente, con tovaglie a doppio strato di buon cotone e una buona presentazione della tavola e del contorno con fiori e attenzione ai dettagli. Buona offerta di menu con un buon assortimento di piatti tipici. Il personale è cordiale, disponibile e preparato, con un servizio veloce. L'affettato è di alta qualità, con ottima carne ben cotta, sia il gallo alla griglia che il gufo arrosto. Buona rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Era mercoledì sera, alle 21.30, eravamo in tre e volevamo mangiare carne alla griglia. Il proprietario ci ha gentilmente avvisato che avremmo dovuto aspettare 30 minuti per la griglia. Abbiamo approfittato prendendo un antipasto di salumi con pane caldo, davvero delizioso. Quando la carne e i contorni sono arrivati, è stato valsa la pena aspettare mezz'ora. Ottima qualità e servizio.
