I have not stayed in the hotel because we live up the road but the hotel is just steps away from Playa de Area which is Viveiro's most beautiful beach.

Had a drink and a poor tapa, read the menu, seemed expensive compared to all the other seafood restaurants we ate in this August. So gave it a miss, when one of the servers couldn't even look up when I asked for a drink!

The... read more Found on spec whilst touring the northern coast, we stopped for a seafood lunch of scallops clams, washed down with a beer a martini. Both dishes were good. The restaurant is part of a hotel there is plenty of parking on a grassy area in front. It's just off the beach though the view from the restaurant terrace is of the car park!.. The service was good. A bit pricey but we were given a couple of free appetisers felt fortunate as the place was open on a bank holiday also it was Monday when many places seem to close.
