When I visited in August, the restaurant was self-service only (I'm not sure that's always the case). Hearty, tasty food, can't complain at all. Located conveniently at the Giw chairlift's top station. Indoor and outdoor seating. View all feedback.
We stopped by after our hike for some ice cream, coffee, wine and beer. The service was great and the ice cream was really good. We observed raclette being served and though we didn't order it, it sure looked tasty. Super view as well.
Lots of local specialities, nothing overpriced, good quality, fast and friendly service by the professional waiters....and to start we got a nice amuse...
Ein Bergrestaurant erster Güte. Nette Wirtsleute, ein toller Koch und eine Sonnenterrasse zum schwärmen. Und wenn man an der richtigen Stelle steht, sieht man sogar das Matterhorn. Nicht erst seit dem Umbau auch im Inneren sehr einladend. Das Aushängeschild ist das Walliser Plättli, und dazu gehört natürlich ein Glas (oder zwei) Heida! Und übrigens im Sommer genauso zu empfehlen!
