I loved the chocolate cake and learning some Portuguese there : The sandwiches were also the best we got in Viseu... and the self-made Quiches! <3 It's really nice to sit outside in faces. The staff is always attentive and notice it when you need a blanket :

This time, prior to Xmas period, have the chance to visit the city again, with his mini Xmas market ev... read more Have been before at Viseu, but to be honest a quick drop. This time, prior to Xmas period, have the chance to visit the city again, with his mini Xmas market even, well suddenly within the central pedestrian zone discovered Faces. The right place to have a coffee or a drink and even if you reach it prior to closure time get a book as they share a lovely book shop. You will notice immediately the reason of the site name. Visited Faces two times over this short Portugal escapade, the second one on a Sunday early noon had the chance to share some lovely music with the owner playing guitar and harmonica, and his son an a friend at keyboards.
