Stora Vego Ab - Visby

We need more of these restaurants. There should only be restaurants like Stora Ego. Everyone should eat more veggie, and this is great food that opens your eyes if you don't already green

Vegan rating: 5 stars Fully vegan, fully amazing. Insanely good vegan burgers included in the buffet. And those are just one of many delicious choices. I imagine the buffet is constantly changing but I can't imagine it ever being bad, not the way this lone chef handled cooking during my stay. Coffee included with a small cake, for me this was in the form of a rawball! 10/10, fully recommended. *edit* typo

Complimentary white bean hummus and fantastic French press coffee. The burger was amazing! You guys should do a recipe book!

Holiday a week in Gotland. We visited the Visby restaurant twice and sat out both times in a pleasant summer sun. We tested the fall pea burger plate, a noodle salad and the fried nuggets of Jackfruit with frits. Our favorite was the fried Jackfruit nuggets, beautiful and crispy. All the frits were very good and combined with good dip sauces. A visit to your Gotland trip worth!

We always make sure to visit this lovely little place when we visit Gotland! There’s something for everyone even those that don’t normally prefer vegan food! One of the few fully vegan cafes in Gotland that serves traditional Swedish dishes such as rårakor and skagenröra (hashbrowns but in vegan version. The only thing we’d like to see at this cafe (as so many others in Sweden! is more options with healthier oils such as olive, coconut etc instead of cheap (and inflammatory canola oil or blends.
