Tommy's - Visalia

I was hired as a photographer for a scholarship awards dinner at Tommy's. I recently moved here from San Luis Obispo, and I haven't tried this restaurant yet.It was about an hour before the event, while waiting at home, when all of a sudden, this urge for chips and salsa arose. I thought I'd just have one or two, but no. I devoured it, like I usually do.This is why I wasn't very hungry when I arrived at Tommy's.The staff was amazing and attentive. They appeared to be slightly understaffed, but the employees were hustling and making it work.Back to the food. Since I wasn't very hungry, I decided on the Stuffed Mushrooms. Oh my word. I love these. So much so that I ordered a second plate.I am very much looking forward to trying Tommy's when my belly is empty. I looked at everyone's plates and the portions were huge! And the plating was on point.

We ate lunch here and were very disappointed. We read the reviews and expected a nice meal. The food was bland and our drinks were never refilled. The waiter was not attentive at all.

Service was outstanding. Started with the Lobster bites, stuffed mushrooms and lobster Mac and cheese. I couldn't pick a favorite. All of them were so good! I had the meatloaf. The flavor was incredible. Finished with the smores dessert. The presentation was fun! Great dinner.

Food is good. Great lunch menu. Very good service. Finally. The most delicious bread pudding!

Great food but even better customer service...my wife and I loved it for being our first time there!
