I was very excited to try this restaurant after reading that previous customers enjoyed their meals and that vegan options were clearly labeled. However, upon arrival, we were informed that many of the vegan options, which typically included smoked tofu, were no longer available due to recent claims about the healthiness of tofu. I ended up ordering the wild Kraut risotto, but found it to be quite bland, so I added some salt and pepper for extra flavor.
Really enjoyed the tofu pasta and the hope. it was so refreshing to find somewhere that labels veggie and vegan options and the eating was delicious.
Riblji is the top choice for vegans in Komiža. All dishes are clearly labeled as vegan or vegetarian. I tried the risotto, but I suggest trying one of the other options as it was a bit oily. My friend had the tofu pasta and it was delicious. For those looking for more vegan options in Vis and Hvar, you can find my guide here: https://hannahimsa.com/vegan-vis-and-hvar-croatia.
I was eager to try this restaurant after hearing that diners enjoyed their meals and that vegan options were clearly labeled. However, most of the vegan dishes featured smoked tofu, which had been removed from the menu recently due to health concerns. As a result, many of the vegan options were not available. I ended up ordering the wild herb risotto, but found it to be rather bland and had to add a lot of salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
