It's Jessy's the food is amazing at every location. I had the birria taco's and soup are delicious. The tortillas are cooked to perfection. The meat in the soup melts in you mouth like candy. The taco's dipped in the soup are delightful. The flavor of everything together works so perfectly and taste fantastic. If you have never tried them or you have tried them other places. I highly recommend trying them here. I nor... View all feedback.
What Johnny Cosmic doesn't like about Taqueria Jessy's:
Service was very disorganized. Asked for chips and salsa 3 times, never came. Asked for water when I sat down, never came. Burrito wasn’t wrapped on both ends w juice pouring out from the sides. Was all soggy, had to eat it with a fork. Was expecting more from an authentic place. Seems like they mean well but do not have good organizational skills View all feedback.
We came to Virginia beach for a vacation and had eaten at other restaurants. The food Taqueria Jessy 's is the best. My daughter said finally food that has been well seasoned . If you want a fancy looking restaurant, this is not the place. If you want a well seasoned and tasty food , then this is the place.
Definitely one of the best places in VB to get authentic tacos. The staff is always friendly, and the food comes out extremely quick. Whether your dining in or taking your food to go, you won't find any other tacos in the area as good as Jessy'sFood: 5/5
What a hidden gem! We took a chance on this place while we stayed in VA Beach last week and we were pleasantly surprised. We have a place here in NY we go to that we adore, and Jessy's beat that.I got skirt steak fajitas and the tortillas were homemade. I got a chicken tamale and it was so good I wished I had gotten another one. My wife got a chimichonga and loved it. The portions are big so we left with full bellies. My son got chicken quesadillas and for juice they had pineapple juice they made and it was delicious. Our meals came with chips and salsa with a good kick, and a generous pint of rice and beans that were also delicious. Our server was friendly and accommodating and the kitchen staff were really nice. One of the few places I tipped $20, and that's on a $40 bill!Out of all the food we had in VA Beach, this was probably our favorite.
Best Mexican food in Virginia. I'm from southern California and I've been desperately searching for a good Mexican place and I'm happy to say I found it! They have everything from hand made tortilla tacos to tamales to literally the best pozole I've had. Great spot if you want amazing Mexican food!Food: 5/5
Another Triple D (diners, drive ins, and dives) disaster, this is the 27th triple D location I have been too they are all bad. You reviewers that call this authentic have never had authentic before. $5 for 1 super sad taco, the tortilla tasted like it was made last week, the meat was dry with 0 flavor, and it was small with hardly any filling. Next was the $14 burrito, the last place I spent $12 on a burrito. I could barely finish half and it was delicious. This was another sad burrito that began to un fold when I picked it up, very bland, and extremely greasy, I tasted more grease than anything else. Couldn't taste the beans and rice bc the server never brought any over. The tortilla again definitely did not taste fresh. So bad,
