The gentleman that works the drive-thru always asks how the day is going and you can tell he has the kindest heart with his genuine replies. What Mary Mallozziberg doesn't like about Starbucks:
Takes over 20 minutes to get your drink. The district manager never responds to email or phone calls. Why even pay to have a district manager and have their card in the business if they don’t help the customers or respond? 9 staff members and took over 20 minutes to get my drink when Hilltop does it in 5 with 2-3 people. I had my first visit to this Starbucks, and it was an exceptional experience. The service was flawless, the staff was cheerful and welcoming, and my drink was fantastic!
The line at this particular location is always quite long. I'm not sure if the staff can do much more to handle it than they already are. Every time I’ve been here, it’s just a busy place. For some reason, the atmosphere feels somewhat chaotic.
I have to say, my child is completely in love with the cookie crumble drink, just without the coffee. As for me, when they ask for the size, I always opt for small. I just want my coffee—just fill the cup with whatever you make, and please, no whipped cream. The staff here are some of the happiest, friendliest, and most efficient people I've come across in a long time. They really made me want to stick around and enjoy my drink there. I didn’t end up staying, but I definitely wouldn’t have minded if I had.
I was waiting in line for coffee when three people suddenly pushed ahead of me in a very rude way. Just typical of the entitled residents of Virginia Beach!
The barista at the cash register was amazing. I can't recall the young man's name, but he was fantastic!
