Romano's Macaroni Grill Virginia Beach

The service was in order that the ladies who waited in us were efficient and pleasant . the problem that I had was that there was no heat throughout the building. it is not as if I had the choice to cancel my reservation on holy evening! I think they did the best they could under the circumstances, but they never even have a slight discount for me to have to eat in my coat and gloves! I did not dwell when the dinner was over, no dessert and drink after dinner for us!

Kyle was a great server, food was hit and cooked perfectly

We ended up getting our food to go due to a mix up. They gave us our drinks in kids cups and when I questioned it, they told me that they serve all adult size drinks and kids size glasses, the plastic sippy cup kind. I immediately went to the front and asked the hostess who explained to me that there was a shortage of cups not that’s what they normally served. I told her that either I needed an additional one to cover the four dollars for the drink or remove it from my bill, when I arrived home, we did not have two of the things that we ordered. Even though the lady swore up and down it was correct I paid for extra bread no bread one of the entrées was missing by the time we got home it was too late to go back and nobody answered the phone . The lady in the back who is overseeing the service counter for takeout was the rudest woman I’ve ever met in my life in the service industry. She even came up to the hostess stand to see what I was questioning as it questioning her was the worst thing to ever happen , she had to of been a manager based on her dress I this was our first time eating here and I will never ever go back the absolute worst food overpriced, and the service ridiculous very very sad for our Thanksgiving dinner choice

Despite a reservation, waited to sit about 10-15 minutes. had asked for a standing and received a partial cabin with a party sitting in a chair outside in the gang, so not a desirable table. no heat in restaurant on a cold day so unpleasant with an older person (age 95) in our party. was slow but friendly. eating was very good.

The service was excellent and eating was very good as always. the macaroni grill is one of our favorite chain restaurants to visit when we travel. the only problem was that the heat in the building did not work properly and the temperature outside in the teens was. there was a sign when they explain the problem, and the personal told us very quickly. we have decided to move forward with our plans and we are glad that we have done it. everyone working in the night has made a great job. we are going back all chances.
